RE-ELECT CINDY ELLIOTT

On Saturday October 17th.

Greetings and welcome to my website.

Thank you to the voters of the City of Powell River for your support in past elections. My platform page will provide information about my perspctives and what I hope to focus on during the next four years.

Canada and BC have just agreed to “Look West: Jobs and Prosperity for a Stronger BC and Canada” plan. There is a projected a $200 Billion of investment over the next 10 years with a focus on Military and Marine expansion, Mining & Critical Minerals, Energy, High Tech and AI, and the sectors to support these key areas. The message was clear at UBCM this year, projects that have partnerships and strong collaboration with BC First Nations have a higher level of certainty for investors and governement and are more suitable for fast tracking. Working together for our local economy will work best. We need a council that can get us to the table in partnership with Tla’Amin Nation and the qathet Regional District to benefit from this plan.

General voting day is October 17, my dad’s birthday, so give him a shout out if you see him. For more information about how to vote, including advanced polls or mail in ballots, please visit the https://powellriver.ca/pages/elections
